Highlights from the discourse of *His Holiness Srila Nava Yogendra Swamiji Maharaj*

*Morning sermon.*

Date: *November 10th, 2024, Keshav Kunj, Sri Vrindavan Dham.*

This material world is a fortress. Everyone is held in it, being criminals. One must get out of this fortress.

*Only when one takes refuge in Lord Sri Krishna can one separate oneself from the cycle of birth and death.*

This world is a house of sorrows. Due to ignorance, everyone searches for happiness in this world of sorrows and wants to stay here forever. Everyone would be thrown out of here one day.

*The Lord is extremely merciful and incarnates in this material world in every age (yuga). The (Lord's) incarnations in Kaliyuga are Gaura-Nitai.*

*Chaitanya Mahaprabhu played the role of a devotee (in Radha bhava). The Lord was very pleased and opened the rare treasure, even to demi-gods, of love for (Lord) Krishna for everyone. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu has come to deliver everyone. So everyone must take shelter under Him.*

One's mind is impure and the greatest enemy. This mind always leads one to sin. One must purify the mind.

*One has been born as a human only to attain The Lord.*

*This sankirtana movement (of the Hare Krishna mahamantra) is of the greatest benefit to humanity because it cleanses the mind of the impurities accumulated over the years and quenches the great fire of repeated birth and death.*

*One must free oneself from sins and chant The Name of (Lord Sri) Krishna. There is no other option to cross this ocean (so-called) Kaliyuga except to chant The Name (Hari Naam). One must chant The Lord's Name in every situation.*

*O! Kabir, Sleeping is a sign of death, so wake up.*

*Leave the enjoying propensities, engage in the Name of The Lord.*

*सुबह का प्रवचन।*

हम लोग भटके हुए हैं, और भगवान को भूल गए हैं। हमें भगवान की शरण में जाना है। *भगवान के हाथों में जीवन की डोर सौंपनी है।*

*हमें कौमार अवस्था (बचपन) से ही भक्ति करनी चाहिए। यह मनुष्य जीवन अत्यंत दुर्लभ है। अन्य शरीरों की भांति यह शरीर भी नश्वर है, लेकिन फिर भी अर्थपूर्ण है। इस शरीर के द्वारा ही हम (भक्ति करके) भगवान को प्राप्त कर सकते हैं।*

हमें मनुष्य शरीर मिला है।खाना, सोना, इंद्रियों का तर्पण करना, और अपनी रक्षा करना - यह मनुष्य और पशु में एक समान है। *मनुष्य धर्म का पालन कर सकता है। भगवान के नियम ही धर्म हैं। जो धर्म से हीन है, वह पशु के समान है।*

भगवान की सेवा के अलावा हम जो भी सांसारिक काम कर रहे हैं, वह सब समय का नाश है।

*हमें हमेशा उठते, बैठते, खाते और सोते हुए भगवान का नाम लेना चाहिए, इसमें कोई देश और काल का नियम नहीं है।*

*साँच बराबरि तप नहीं, झूठ बराबर पाप।*

*जाके हिरदै साँच है, ताकै हृदय आप॥*
