Morning Sermon

Date: May 9th, 2025, ISKCON, Udhampur

Key Points from the Sermon:

     

    • One is born in a human body to attain The Lord.

     

    • One must hand over the thread of one's life in the hands of The Lord.

     

    • One has been born in a human body by great fortune. Eating, sleeping, satisfying the senses, and protecting oneself are the same in humans and animals. Humans can follow religion (Dharma). Dharma is The Lord's rules. One who is devoid of it is like an animal.

     

    • Everyone is ignorant and does not understand that wife, son, wealth, and bungalow are all distant things (when) one does not own this body. The body is a trust of the crematorium.

     

    • One has nothing to do here (mortal world) but cannot remain without doing anything. One must work (do everything) for The Lord Sri Krishna.

     

    • The devotee should serve The Lord without any expectation (seek nothing in return, Selfless Devotion).

    👉 Human birth is rare. It does not repeat.

    If tree leaves fall, do not stick to the branch again.

    👉 A person, fully conscious of Me, knowing Me to be the ultimate beneficiary of all sacrifices and austerities, the Supreme Lord of all planets and demi-gods, the benefactor and well-wisher of all living entities attain peace from the effects of material miseries. (B.G. 5.29)

    👉 Of all the living entities with material bodies in this world, one who got awarded this human form should not work hard day and night simply for sense gratification.

    It is available even for dogs and hogs who eat feces. One must engage in penance and austerity to attain the divine position of devotional service. By doing so, the heart becomes pure. Having achieved this position, one attains eternal, blissful life, transcendental to material happiness, which continues forever. (S.B. 5.5.1)

    👉 Morning comes, (then) evening comes.

    Life ends like this.

    👉 Chant so much that you cross your limits.

    सुबह का कार्यक्रम।

    दिनांक:- मई 9, 2025, इस्कॉन उधमपुर।

    मुख्य प्रवचन बिंदु:

    • हमें यह मनुष्य शरीर भगवान को प्राप्त करने के लिए मिला है।
    • हमें भगवान के हाथों में जीवन की डोर सौंपनी है।
    • हमें बहुत भाग्य से मनुष्य शरीर मिला है।खाना, सोना, इंद्रियों का तर्पण करना, और अपनी रक्षा करना - यह मनुष्य और पशु में एक समान है। मनुष्य धर्म का पालन कर सकता है। भगवान के नियम ही धर्म हैं। जो धर्म से हीन है, वह पशु के समान है।
    • हम अज्ञानी हैं और यह नहीं समझ रहे - स्त्री, पुत्र, धन, और बंगला यह सब दूर की चीजें रहीं, यह शरीर भी हमारा नहीं है। यह भी शमशान की अमानत है।
    • हमें यहाँ कुछ नहीं करना, लेकिन हम बिना कुछ किए नहीं रह सकते। हमें भगवान श्री कृष्ण के लिए सब कुछ करना है।
    • भक्त को चाहिए कि वह भगवान की सेवा निष्काम भाव से करे (बदले में कुछ नहीं चाहिए)।

    👉 मनुष्य जन्म दुर्लभ अति, होत न बारम्बार।

    तरुवर ज्यों पत्ता झड़े, बहुरि न लागे डार॥

    👉 भोक्तारं यज्ञतपसां सर्वलोकमहेश्वरम्।

    सुहृदं सर्वभूतानां ज्ञात्वा मां शान्तिमृच्छति॥ (भगवद गीता ५.२९)

    👉 नायं देहो देहभाजां नृलोके, कष्टान् कामानर्हते विड्भुजां ये।

    तपो दिव्यं पुत्रका येन सत्त्वं, शुद्ध्येद्यस्माद् ब्रह्मसौख्यं त्वनन्तम्॥ (श्रीमद्भागवत महापुराण ५.५.१)

    👉 सुबह होती है, शाम होती है।

    उम्र यूँही तमाम होती है॥

    👉 इतना जप कर कि हद कर दे।

    कि यमराज भी अपना खाता रद्द कर दे॥
